Research overview

SPCL's research falls into three directions: Scalable High-Performance Networking, Parallel Programming, and Performance (Modeling). The following short video provides a very coarse and shallow but concise overview of SPCL's research:

More details about research directions and particular projects can be found in the sections below.

Scalable High-Performance Networking

This branch deals with novel scalable high-performance topologies, routing, and host interfaces of large-scale networks.

Parallel Programming

We investigate new advanced parallel programming techniques and runtime environments.

Performance

This area focusses around performance modeling, simulation, and optimization of large-scale parallel applications.
